Pauline A. Stuart, 81, of Nitro died Dec. 15, 2001, at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Otterbien United Methodist Church, Nitro. She was a resident of Nitro since 1967. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Stuart; son, Donald Ray Stuart; grandson, Steven D. Hawkins. She is survived by: daughter, Barbara Hawkins of Nitro; son, Robert "Bob" Stuart of Nitro; brothers, Bobby Kelley of Nitro, Carl Kelley of Chillicothe, Ohio; sister, Peggy McClain of Nitro; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
