County's prominent citizens, died at his home in Perry Township on
Sunday, October 28, 1934, at 7:30 PM of complications.
Mr. Headley was the son of Ephraim Headley and Maria Haines Headley
and was born and reared on the farm on which he died. He followed
farming and stock raising. He was a member of the Methodist Church
of Shannon Run.
Surviving are his wife, Pleasant Brown Headley; five sons, Lansing of
Baltimore, MD; Emanuel of Plattsburgh, NY; Paul, of Core, WV; George,
of Mt. Morris, PA and Chester, at home.
The services will be held at his late home, Wednesday Afternoon at 1
o'clock to be followed by further services at the Olive M.E. Church
at Pentress, WV, in charge of Rev. Mr. Sleeth. Interment will be in
Olive Cemetery--Democrat Messenger, October 30, 1934.
