POPULAR COUPLE WILL WED TODAY

William Davey and Edith Hosking to Be Married This Morning.

A quiet wedding will be solemnized at 5:30 o'clock this morning at the home of Richard Moore and wife of Zion Street, when Miss Edith Gertrude Hosking of this city and William Davey of Grass Valley will be united in the holy bonds of matrimony. The nuptial knot will be tied by Rev. W. C. Robins.
The ceremony will be performed in the presence of relatives and a few intimate friends of the couple. Immediately afterward a wedding breakfast will be served and the couple will then leave for Grass Valley where they will take the train for San Francisco. They will spend a couple of weeks at the bay on their honeymoon, after which they will return to this city to make their home.
Miss Hosking is the oldest daughter of Mrs. Kate Hosking of Zion Street and is a very winsome young woman. Practically all of her life has been spent in this city and she has endeared herself to a host of friends. For several years she has been acting as stenographer for the Pierce-Bosquit Abstract & Title Company and her duties have required her to be in the courthouse a great deal of her time. Her cheery disposition and winning smile have caused her to become a popular favorite with all of the officials at the courthouse, and although she will be greatly missed there, all will wish for her the best a long and happy life has to offer.
Mr. Davey is a son of Supervisor Davey and wife of Pleasant Valley, and is a young man of sterling worth. He is a trusted employe of the Grass Valley Hardware Company.
