Funeral services for Josephine Ojel (Bearor) Brooks, 73, who died on Sat evening at Porter Medical Center in Middlebury were held on Mon at 2 pm at the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
Burial was in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
Mrs Brooks was born in Sudbury, VT, on Apr 20, 1906, daughter of Alexander and Nona Bearor.
She has been a resident of Brandon for many years. her husband, Mr. Guy Brooks, died in May of 1973.
They ran a very successful Poultry & Egg business in Brandon for many years. They retired in 1955.
She is survived by a daughter and a son, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
