Perry L. Grimm, age 45, of 1251 Main St., Kellnersville, died unexpectedly Monday morning, November 20, 2000, the result of an industrial accident at Brillion Iron Works. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 24, 2000, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. Msgr. Robert Gulig will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
Perry was born April 16, 1955, at Manitowoc, son of Reinhard and Joan Torrison Grimm Jr. Perry was a 1973 graduate of Reedsville High School. Perry work for Brillion Iron Works for the past 27 years. On September 7, 1974, Perry was married to Cindy L. Shiniek, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville.
Perry was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, P.A.C.E. Local 70475, Kellnersville Betterment Association, and was active in Thursday Night Horseshoe League in Kellnersville, Reed-Way Sportsman Club and shot trap for the Reed-Way Sportsman Club, West Maple Grove Sportsman and Hunting Club. Perry loved his dogs, camping and hunting with all of his buddies.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy, Kellnersville; one son, Travis Grimm, at home and his special friend,.Hilde; two daughters, Alicia Grimm, Mishicot and her special friend, Ryan, Kelly Grimm, at home; his parents, Reinie and Joan Grimm, Reedsville; his father-in-law, and Mother-in-law, Norman "Pat" and Amelia "Dolly" Shimek, Kellnersville; grandmother, Alvina Shimek, Reedsville; one brother and sister-in-law, Kurt Grimm PERRY L. GRIMM and Julie Grimm, Plainwell, Mich.; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Candy and Dan Rathsack, Kellnersville, Penny and John Ourada, Merrill, Wis., Stacey and Larry Stelzer Jr., Whitelaw, Shelley and Mark Reinemann, Hortonville, Wis.; three brothers-in-law, and two sisters-in-law,' Randy Shimek, Kellnersville, Todd and Tammy Shimek, Forest Junction, Holly and Wayne Aldrich, Mishicot; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Perry was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Glenn Shimek. Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville, on Thursday, from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday led by Sr. Marlene Greatens. Herald Times Reporter November 22, 2000
