Daughter of Henry Donnel(l) Foster and Mary Jane Young of Greensburg, Westmoreland, PA. Wife of George Claude Hewett 1854-1907 and mother of Donnel Foster Hewett 1881-1971.

Hetty was the namesake (one of a great many) of Hester "Hetty" Barclay 1755-1796 of Bedford, PA, the first female convert to the Swedenborgian faith in America (Philadelphia 1784). Hester being Hetty's great-grand aunt.
