Will and older brother arrived in Lexington, SC via train, from Georgia (unconfirmed)as young men and lived with the Harman family. Older brother was Reverend Isaac "Ike" Newton Stone, a Methodist Bruch Arbor Minister, eventually married Amanda "Maude" Harman, daughter of the Harman family they lived with. Ike was instrumental in the founding of Mt. Horeb Methodist Church, Lexington, SC, where Will and Carrie are buried next to Ike and Amanda.
