LODI, April 4--Funeral services will be held Friday for Mrs. Mary Emma Wood, 84, Lodi resident for 20 years, who died Monday in her home, 731 S. School. Interment in Lodi Cemetery. Mrs. Wood, a native of Knoxville, Tenn., was the wife of Thomas C. Wood, who died in 1940. She was a member of the Hartford Women's Relief Corps.
She is survived by a son, Charles, of Lodi, and 6 daughters, Mrs. Sally Foster and Mrs. Freda Hauk, both of Lodi; Mrs. Katherine Tompkins, Santa Ana; Mrs. Inez Love and Mrs. Margaret Dunning, both of Salinas, and Mrs. Anna Beavers, Amarillo, Tex. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Margaret Hovart, Miami, Fla.; 16 grandchildren, ad 27 great-grandchildren.
