Mrs. Mabel E. Lindahl, 83, Forest Lake, died April 4, 1972, at Birchwood Nursing Home. Mrs. Lindahl was born in Minneapolis, May 22, 1888, and was confirmed into the Lutheran Church at Big Lake. She taught school for 10 years in Sherburne, Swift, and Washington counties. In 1917 she was married to Oscar Lindahl, Forest Lake. She was a Gold Star mother, a lifetime member of the VFW auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, an honorary member of the Mary Circle and an active member of the Sarah Circle. She had been a member of the Faith Lutheran Church since 1915. Funeral services were held April 7 with the Rev. Frank Johnson officiating at the Faith Lutheran Church, Forest Lake. She is survived by one son; one daughter; one brother; two grandsons; and several cousins and a host of friends.
