Emery Lee 'Buddy' McIntosh, 87 of Oklahoma City, went to be with his Savior Jesus Christ, on July 26, 2014. He was born on December 10, 1926 in Oklahoma City to Jack Carlton and Mary Virginia (Barker) McIntosh. Growing up in the city, he attended Central High and received his diploma in 1947, following his honorable discharge from the Army. He was a member of Quail Springs Baptist Church and was a Trust and Loan Officer for First National Bank for 30 years, and served his country proudly in the US Army as an MP and prison guard to enemy POWs. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ima Joe McIntosh and his brother, Paul. He was survived by his son, Carter "Randy" McIntosh and wife Shari; grandchildren, Christopher and Lacy McIntosh; sister, Carole Sue McIntosh; brother, Bill McIntosh and wife Martha. Memorials in lieu of flowers were requested to the Oklahoma Alzheimer's Association. Services to celebrate his life were held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 30 at the Buchanan Funeral Service chapel, followed by interment at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
