Obituary from The Springdale News, Arkansas, 1 July 1910

The remains of Claud Munger, a young man who formerly resided near Marble, in Madison County, arrived Tuesday and were taken to Huntsville for interment. The young man was employed in a machine shop of the Missouri Pacific near Kansas City, Missouri, and Saturday afternoon he got a small quantity of gasoline on the leg of his pants, which became ignited. A can was standing near which the young man thought contained water and he thrust his foot into it to extinguish the fire. Instead of water, however, it proved to be naptha and the unfortunate young man was immediately enveloped in flames. He sustained injuries from which he died Sunday morning. The young man was about twenty-three years of age and a few years ago was united in marriage to a daughter of Nat Wilks of Hindsville. Mrs. Wilks (Mrs. Munger) was visiting her parents at Hindsville at the time of the unfortunate affair.
