Charles R. DeJarnett Sr., 61, of 6300 Allen Road died Saturday, July 3, 1993, at his son's residence, 2122 N. Machin.
He was born Jan. 25, 1932, in Peoria to Wade and Rose DeJarnett.
Surviving are four sons, Charles, Steven and Timothy, all of Peoria, and Thomas of Austin, Texas; three stepdaughters, Connie Kissner of East Peoria, and Bonnie Gibler and Susie VanLaningham, both of Chillicothe; two sisters, Betty Dewit of Cloverport, Ky., and Mary Ayers of Peoria; and three half sisters, Georgia Noel of Peoria, Sandra Robison of Pekin and Judy Hampton of Arkansas.
He was a tree trimmer for Central Illinois Light Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1987.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
