Mildred Acton Smith, 97, LaCrosse, Wis., died at Bethaney Riverside Nursing Home in La Crosse. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School and Chicago School of Design. She was a member of DAR and Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include daughter-in-law, Ruth Smith; three grandsons and three great-granddaughters all of Colorado; brother, William Acton of Clearwater, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G. Kenneth Smith; son, Kenneth A. Smith; parents, William E. and Lillie M. Acton; brothers, Ralph W. and Elmer G. Acton; and sisters, Florence Acton Kaumeyer and Laura Bell Acton.
Eastern Star services, funeral services and burial were held in LaCrosse.
