Owen Donahue Warfield, age 67, of Wilmore, died Monday, July 28, 2014 at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center.
He was born in Shelby County to the late Owen and Dora Bastin Warfield. He retired from KY State Police Post 12. He served in the Army and Navy National Guard and was in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by two sisters, Meriam Gaunce, Lexington, and Margaret Winters, Scottsburg, IN; brother, David Warfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery Pavilion on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Jim Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Gash Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements.
