Robert D. Rauschenbach, age 83, passed away July 27, 2014 in Kensington Care Center in Aurora. He was born Feb. 1, 1931 in Canton, son to the late Roy and Marie
( Swartz ) Rauschenbach. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a Mechanical Engineer.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary C. ( Fletcher ) Rauschenbach and brother, Rodney Rauschenbach. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Bryan Goldman of Richmond Heights, Ohio; grandsons, Robert and Zachary Goldman of Richmond Heights and sister-in-law, Shirley Rauschenbach.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Sunset Hills Burial Park. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association at 135 Parkinson Ave. Staten Island, New York 10305.
