Christ passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck, ND.

Christ S. Frank was born June 3, 1928 in Dickinson, the youngest child born to Sebastian and Anna (Klein) Frank. He grew up on the family farm near Schefield and attended school at St. Pius Catholic School. After receiving his education, Christ continued to work on the farm. On January 19, 1954, Christ and Lorraine Billman were united in marriage at St. Pius Catholic Church. The couple made their home on the family farm and it was here where they raised their family of six children. Christ felt blessed to live on the farm most of his life. In 2001, the couple retired to Dickinson.

Christ was a very talented welder, working on equipment and projects on the farm. He loved old time music and dancing in his early years. Christ was an avid card player always making time for a game of pinochle. He was a very outgoing man and enjoyed attended social gatherings; especially if it meant spending time with his family and friends.

Christ was a member of St. Pius Verien for over 60 years, serving as an officer for over 25 years. Christ was also involved with the New England Rural Fire department, serving as president as well as a member of the German Hungarian, St. Anthony and Eagles Clubs. He was an active Eucharistic Minister and Rosary Leader at St. Pius Catholic Church.

Christ is survived by his wife, Lorraine; sons, Raynald (Doris) of Dickinson, Conald (Lori) of Foxfield, Co, Charles (Sue) of Dickinson, John (April) of Dickinson, and Elwin (Carlene) of Mandan; daughters, Lenora (Mike) Jacobson of Wishek, ND, and Marlene Frank of Dickinson; grandchildren, Kristina, Robert, Brian, Amanda, Meagan, Michael, Adam, Sarah, Melissa, Christian, and Amy; five great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Margaret Frank and Martha Frank both of Dickinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Sr. Piona, Clementine, Steve, Frank, Tony, John, Monica, Rose, Margaret, Magdeline, and Joe; two infant siblings; and first wife Monica.
