ARTT, Ernest "Ernie", age 67, passed away on July 24, 2014. Ernie is the loving husband of Fran and dear father of Emily Groller (Dan), and Sarah Rigan (Patrick). Loving poppy of Kason and Dalton Groller. Brother of Catherine Fish (Jim), Steven Artt (Michele), Nancy Mitchell (Al), Marilyn Wozniak (Mike), Doug Artt (Diane), Evelyn Brenner (Gordon). Son of the late Ernest and Janet Artt.
Ernie served our country in the United States Navy, was an MSU alumnus, and retired from DMC Medical Center.
The Funeral Service will be on Thursday July 31, 2014 at 10 a.m. at A.J. Desmond and Sons (Vasu, Rodgers and Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073 (between 13 and 14 Mile). The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 2-8 p.m. Ernie will be taken to Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan for his final resting place.
