Ruth was known for her baking and cooking. Hardly an event would go by in Rockwell, without one of her Lady Baltimore Cakes being served. She enjoyed gardening and playing cards, especially Gin Rummy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, in 1968; one brother and three sisters and one brother in infancy.
