Victor, March 8. -- William Henry Bowers died at the age of 70 years at his home in Church street, Victor, at 2 o'clock this morning. He was the son of Jacob and Sophia Bowers, born in the town of Victor September 21, 1847. His childhood and young manhood was passed in the old Bowers home just east of this village, and practically his whole life has been lived in Victor and vicinity. When a young man he was united in marriage to Miss Delia White, who survives him. Besides his wife he leaves a son, Seymore [sic] Bowers, a prosperous farmer of Farmington, and a granddaughter, Olive Bowers; an aunt, Mrs. Hannah Johnson of Lima, and a cousin, Albert Sale, of Victor. The funeral will be held from his late home at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Rev. Frank W. Hill, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will take place at Boughton Hill cemetery, Victor.

Victor, N. Y. - William Henry Bowers, aged 70 years, passed away at his home on Tuesday morning, after an illness of many weeks with heart trouble. He was the son of Jacob and Sophia Bowers and was born at Victor on September 21, 1847. He grew from childhood to manhood on the old Bowers home, east of this village, practically his whole life having been passed in Victor and vicinity. When a young man he was united in marriage to Miss Delia White, who survives him; also one son, Seymour Bowers of Farmington; a granddaughter, Olive Bowers; an aunt, Mrs. Hannah Johnson, of Lima, and a cousin, Albert Sale of Victor.
