Horace, Ill. Passes Away
After Long Illness
Mrs. Minnie Ashley 48 year old, died at seven o'clock Friday evening at her home
near Horace, after a long illness. she had beeen in a critical condition for
some months and death was not unexpected.
Minnie Henson was born August 22nd 1878 in Edgar County, where she spent her
entire life. For many years she was a member of the Horace Baptist Church, in
which she was a faithful worker. She was married to Willis Ashley, of Horace,
who, withthe following children, survive: allen, Everett, Ellis, Laerence,
Nettie, Bertha, and Ruth Ashley, all f Horace. Charles Henson, os Spencer,
Indiana and Mrs. Fannie Crum of Harace, also survive. (I assume these are
sibliings)
Funeral service will be held from tyhe Franklin Church at 11:00 o'clock Suday
morning. Rev. Lough, pastor of the Horace Baptist Church officiating.
Internment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
