Jack Barnes
Final rites for Jack Barnes of Route 1, Rusk, were conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Wallace-Thompson chapel by the Rev. Don Copeland. Interment was in Russell Cemetery.
Mr. Barnes, 68, died Monday of an apparent heart attack. He was born in Alto and had lived in the Rusk area most of his life. He was a retired farmer, member of the Baptist church and World War II veteran.
