VERNICE "LIZ" RIOPEL, 70, of Toms River, died Sept. 13 at home. Born in Belzoni, Miss., she lived in Marlboro for many years before moving to Toms River seven years ago. Mrs. Riopel was an assembly person for Air Cruisers Inc., Belmar, for 30 years before retiring in 1989. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald, who died in 1998. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Paul and Michael Getmanov of Howell; two brothers, Roy Cobb of Howell and Pete Cobb of Fairburn, Ga.; two sisters, Sally Jane Chamberlain of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Audrey Casey of Deltona, Fla.; and one granddaughter. Interment took place at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township.
