Gregory Charles Adams, 59, of Orlando, FL, departed this life Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the Florida Hospital, Orlando, FL.

He was the son of the late Reginald and Frances Blakely Adams, and the grandson of the late Rev. R. J. and Bernice Blakely. He was a resident of Orlando, FL, but lived some of his earlier years in Georgia, North Carolina and New York before moving to Florida. He graduated from Central High School in McRae in 1970.

Survivors include his wife Marsha Adams, Orlando, FL; two sons, Arthur Adams and Jeffery Jones; three brothers Reginald (Ann) Adams, Orlando, FL, Raedell (Denise) Adams, and Algernon (Bertha) Adams, both of New York; one sister, Onetia Cutts, Fayetteville, NC, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and sorrowing friends.

Viewing will take place from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at the funeral home, 505 Ware St.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 14, from the chapel of Rainge Memorial Chapel with Words of Comfort the Rev. Dr. Landis R. Hadley delivering words of comford and the Rev. Rebekah L. Hadley officiating.

Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery, Blackshear.

The family is receiving friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bowles, 1037 Session Hill Lane, Blackshear, GA.

The cortege will also assemble at the Bowles home, 1037 Session Hill Lane, Blackshear, GA at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
