NAHRUNG - CARROLL
At the R.C. Church, Goodna, on the 3rd of April, a very pretty wedding was celebrated by the Rev. Father Stapleton, assisted by Rev Father Jordan, of Nundah. The contracting parties were Miss Beatrice May ("Trixie") Carroll, only daughter of the late Mr H. Carroll and Mrs Carroll of Goodna, and Mr K. B. Nahrung, elder son of Mr and Mrs H. M. Nahrung, Maryborough. Miss Muriel Nahrung was bridesmaid. Misses Olive and May Murphy (cousins of the bride) acted as train-bearers. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr Tom Gimson. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride's mother. Later Mr and Mrs K. B. Nahrung left for the Tweed, where the honeymoon was spent.
