Helen Anne (Reidy) Adamiak, died peacefully in her home in Jensen Beach, Florida on July 23, 2014, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born in Jersey City, NJ on a date that cannot be revealed at Helen's request. She grew up in a large family with 16 siblings who were important to her throughout her life.

Helen was an avid reader, card player, a slot machine aficionado, and even took up golf late in life. Her primary focus was her family and friends. She always cared for people, especially in time of need, and all were welcome in her home.

Beloved wife for 62 years of the late Apollo Adamiak, Helen is survived by her three children, Sandra Murphey, John Adamiak and Maryann Jubanowsky, and their spouses John Murphey, Kathryn Adamiak and David Jubanowsky; her grandchildren Helen Majestic, Laura Given, Kate Davis, Jesse Adamiak, Tara McAteer and Taylor Jubanowsky; her great grandchildren Mathew Majestic; Conor, Brianne, and Aiden Given; Clara, Adelyn, John and Andrew Davis.

As a role model to all of us, she will be missed. As an example of living and dying with grace and purpose, she will remain in our hearts forever.

Funeral services are Monday, August 4 at 10 AM at St. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, 109 Grand Avenue, Jersey City, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army or the
charity of your choice.
