Chesapeake - Charles Ray Belch, 67, of Chesapeake, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 29, 2014.
Born in Princess Anne County, he was the son of the late Archie and Cora Belch. He was the owner of Ray's Floors, Inc. for more than 30 years. Ray was a dedicated, long-time member of the Norfolk Elk's Lodge No. 38 BPOE, where he was a two time Past President. His love and devotion to "his" lodge was unending. Most of all, Ray will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 37 years, Linda Belch; children, Lisa Marie Jungman and husband Kevin and John Scott Strout and wife Heather; grandchildren, Courtney, Rachel, Hailey, Erica and Kevin, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Amiliana and Crystalece; sisters, Doris, Mary and Judy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake. The interment will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
