A Social Evening was given in the Miva school on Thursday, September 17, by Mr and Mrs G. W. Nahrung, in honour of the coming of age of their eldest daughter, Miss Wilhabel Nahrung. The school was nicely decorated for the occasion with greenery and paper garlands. The night was gloriosly fine and nearly 100 guests were present, including relatives and friends from Brisbane and Maryborough, each bent on making the function a social success.
