Ernest Frank Buchanan, 76, of
Peru, passed away at 9:45 p.m.
October 25, 1976, at Dukes
Memorial Hospital there. He had
been ill for some time.
Born in Hawkins County,
Tenn., August, 23, 1900, he was
the son of Robert and Dorthula
Short Buchanan. In March, 1967,
he married Jane Bermenderfer,
who survives.
He was a member of the Moose
and Eagles Lodges at Lafayette
and the Mount Hope Baptist
Church in Tennessee.
Surviving with the wife are two
sisters, Mrs. Ann Taylor of
Newbern, Tenn., and Mrs. Mary
Eunav Long of Bulls Gap, Tenn.;
three brothers, Clyde of Delphi,
Rassie of Church Hill, Tenn., and
Parley of Morristown, Tenn. Two
sisters and one brother preceded
him in death.
Funeral services will be at
Jackson Funeral Home in Delphi
Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev.
William Heinrich officiating.
Friends may call at Flowers and
Leedy Funeral Home from 6-9 in
Peru Wednesday. Calling hours
will be at Jackson Funeral Home
Thursday from 6 to 9. Burial will
be in Masonic Cemetery, Delphi.
