Funeral services for Earnest Lee Little, 63, Lawrence were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery. He died Friday, December 27, 2013 at his home.
He was born October 25, 1950 in Hollandale, MS the son of Marvin Lee and Sarah Little.
Earnest was a cook for GSP.
Earnest married Maria Delores Little on April 13, 1982. She preceded him in death in 2000. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Walter Lee Little and Bobbie E. Little.
Other survivors include his children Earnest Rayton, Topeka, KS, Germaine Rayton, Junction City, KS; Sara Little, Lawrence, KS, Earnestine Little-Brockman, Lawrence, KS; step-children, Tonya D. Ware, Stephen Logan, Andrea Edwards, Lisa Logan, Kamari Logan, Brett Logan; two sisters, Mary (Jessie) Lloyd and Emma (OT) Devine; 46 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and 8 nieces and 3 nephews and a host of cousins, great-nieces and great nephews.
The family greeted friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the mortuary.
