Stanley S. Bohac age 85 of Grand Forks, ND, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Valley Memorial Homes, Woodside Village.

Stanley Bohac was born on December 6, 1928, in Lankin, ND the son of Frank and Barbara (Hodny) Bohac. Stanley grew up and attended Lambert District #73 School and also farmed and raised cattle in the Lankin area. In May of 1951 he joined the United States Army and served his country until being honorably discharged in May of 1953.

On October 16, 1961, he was united in marriage to Lorraine Lovcik at St. Mary's Church in Park River, ND. He continued to farm in the Lankin area until moving to Grand Forks, ND in 1992 and semi-retired. In November of 2012 he moved to Valley 4000.

Stanley is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine of Grand Forks, ND; children: Donna (Leroy) Baldock of Grand Forks, ND; Judy (Ron) Hammer of Fairdale, ND; Susie (Denny) Lakoduk of Mapleton, ND; Sheila (Keven) Maddock of Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren: Shelly (Chip) Cook, Les (Jackie) Dvorak, Roberta Turney, Doug (Christy) Amundson, Chris Lakoduk, Craig Lakoduk, Gabby Maddock, and Macy Maddock; great-grandchildren: Derak, Denver, Kane, Katie, Evan, Owen, Madisyn and Corbin; sister, Millie Jallo of Park River, ND; one niece, Linda (Keith) Knudson; and one nephew, Albin (Pam) Jallo.

Stanley is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Albin Bohac.

Funeral Service: Thursday, July 24, 2014, in Holy Family Catholic Church, Grand Forks, ND. Interment: Bechyne Cemetery ~ Lankin, ND.
