Age 90, of Maple Lake, MN Formerly of Minneapolis Died on December 13, 2012. Anna Mae was born in Melrose, MN, the 8th of 10 children. She graduated from Marshall High School in Minneapolis, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Minnesota in 1949. She also earned a Library Science degree from St. Catherine's College and served in the Army Library Service in Okinawa after WWII. Anna Mae was devoted to her husband, Arthur B. Quiggle (died 2003), her five children, Elizabeth (Chuck) Stringer, Charlotte Quiggle, Catherine (David) Munkittrick, Arthur (Kathleen) Quiggle, and Frederick (Tory) Quiggle, her 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She loved Bible study, reading, music, theatre, family travels, jogging, Sugar Lake activities of swimming, lawn mowing, water-biking, and golfing. She had a deep and abiding faith in God and Jesus, her Savior. Anna Mae lived her last years at St. Benedict's Senior Community in St. Cloud where she continued to serve as the family linchpin. God gave her grace and courage, living each day trusting in His care for her. Anna Mae's family is forever grateful for the discipline, tenacity, determination, education, tough love, loyalty, courage, and abiding faith that Mom displayed and showered us with all the years of her life. Thanks be to God for the gift of Anna Mae Kuhlmann Quiggle. Memorials may be given to St Benedict's Senior Community Garden Fund, 1810 Minnesota Blvd. SE, St. Cloud, MN 56304. A memorial service for Anna Mae will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church, 4201 Sheridan Ave S, Minneapolis, on Thursday, Dec 27 at 11AM.
