BARBARA L. Geurtze
Barbara L. Geurtze, Elsmere. Barbara entered into eternal rest peacefully after a brief illness on Nov. 10, 2012. Barbara is the beloved daughter of Mable (James) Watson and the late Robert Gnospelius and is also survived by her husband of 39 years, Donald W. Geurtze, her children, Robert (Kristine) Geurtze and David Geurtze, her grandchildren, Abigail, Madilyn and Zachary Geurtze. Barbara was employed by the State of New York for several years, a faithful member of Delmar Reformed Church and was an avid bowler. Barbara loved spending time with her family and cherished her time with Don sailing the ocean blue. A wake in honor of Barbara will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the Delmar Reformed Church, 386 Delaware Ave., Delmar on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 1 pm, interment will follow at the convenience of the family. They would like to thank the staff and volunteers at the Community Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the Delmar Reformed Church.
