Richard and Marvle at one time owned the East End Grocery in Fremont, Indiana. Marvle died of complications of a heart attack at Cameron Memorial Hospital, Angola Indiana, probably caused by shoveling snow. Known as "Aunt Marvle" to everyone, she was the consummate cook and baker. She married Richard Hale Binkley and they adopted two children Christine Scott (aka Peggy Jean) and Faye. She was known for her raucous sense of humor and her ability to dance the night away at the Moose in Angola.
