Juliette Marie Fetterman, Nee Truchon, a two and half year resident of Leesburg, Virginia and previously of Edgewater for over 27 years died on July 28, 2014 in Reston, Virginia. She was 85.

Known as Julie to friends and as Babe to her family, she was born on November 28, 1928 in Concord, New Hampshire. Juliette retired from the United States Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Arthur Truchon and M.S. Juliette Bissonnette Truchon; and two brothers, Ernest and Paul Truchon.

Juliette was survived by her husband, Charles Frederick Fetterman, whom she married on February 13, 1950; a son, Vincent Joseph Fetterman and his wife, Dawn Berezoski of Shady Side; two daughters, Diane Marie Rice and her husband, Michael of Leesburg, Virginia and Debra Lee Cook and her husband, Barry of Edgewater; two sisters-in-law, Lois and Phyllis Truchon, both of Concord, New Hampshire; two grandchildren, Douglas Allen Cook and his wife, Kirsten of Edgewater and Tracy Lee Palmer and her husband, K.C. of Edgewater; and four great-grandchildren.

A service was held on Monday, August 11 at 1pm at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville with a luncheon immediately following. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the S.P.C.A. of Anne Arundel County, P.O. Box 3471, Annapolis, MD 21403
