Born to Charles C. and Caroline S. (Famous) Gill. He married Hai Thi Le on September 14, 1970 in Bien Hoa, Vietnam. Sgt Gill was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from the Army after 22 years of service. He then worked as a certified mechanic for Montgomery Ward in the Automotive Center for 10 years and was currently working at the Auto Craft Shop at Fort Sill.
