Daughter of Aaron Wilfred and Alice Emily (Coro), Middle Hainesville, York Co., N. B.

When John Hazen Moore was 28 years old, he married Sarah Deborah Ann Price, 16 years old, in the Methodist Church. After their marriage Sarah and John lived in Lower Hainesville on a farm adjoining his wife' s family home. Their first seven children were born there.

About 1914, John started buying and selling pulpwood in addition to farming. About 1921 the family moved to Skowhegan, Maine, and bought a farm on which they lived about 2 years. After selling this farm they moved back to Fredericton, N. B. (about 1922) where they bought a two-family house on York Street. John went into the lumber business buying and selling pulpwood. After going bankrupt the family moved to Prince William and bought a farm. It was here their youngest child was born (Harry A. Moore).

In the fall of 1926 (Nov.) they moved again to Skowhegan, Maine , and bought a farm on the Dudley Corner Road. This became the home where they lived out the rest of their lives.
