David was a dispatcher at the Bethany barracks of the Conneticut State Police for 34 years. He was a Wallingford resident until moving to New Haven in 1962. He was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School, class of 1960. Dave was a member of the Advent Christian Church, Wallingford, the West Haven Elks Lodge, and the State Police Academy Alumni Association. He volunteered his time to run the Connecticut State Police Store, where the proceeds went to scholarhips for children of the state police. He is survived by a sister, Shirley. Funeral services were held in the chapel of the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm Street, Wallingford. If friends so desire, gifts in his memory may be made to the Connecticut State Police Scholarship Fund, c/o Retired Sgt.
