Mrs. August Lundeen passed away on July 13 at St. John's hospital, Hurson, S.D., after several month's illness. Mrs. Lundeen (Hilda Charlotte Anderson) was born in Gottenburg, Sweden in 1881 and was brought in this country at the age of six months. Her father, Axel Anderson, was a pioneer in Columbus township and she attended school there. In 1898 she was married to August Lundeen who preceded her in death as did her son, Russell, and her daughter, Ruth (Mrs. Sheldon Ashley). Burial Services were held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Faith Lutheran church with the Rev. Clarence W. Peterson of Chisago City officiating. Mrs. Lundeen is survived by two daughters; two sisters; two brothers; four grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
