Carl Parsons, 56, died at Fairbury hospital at 2:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 1963.


He was born in Bloomington. March 6, 1906 a son of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan A.

Parsons. He married Mable Moore at Indianapolis, Ind., Oct. 18, 1937.


Surviving are his wife; a stepson. Gene Garrish, at home: a son, Nathan A., Korea; five daughters, Miss Katheryn Parsons, Bloomington; Mrs. Nancy Gawthorne, Glendale. Ariz.; Mrs. Mary Cates, Tulare, Calif.; Mrs. Lucille Mendrich, Danvers; Mrs.

Georgie Folger, Bloomington, and 14 grandchildren.
