Monsieur le Comte Pierre Augustin Hullin was a premiere general under Napoléon, who appointed him the commandeur of Berlin in 1806. Hullin was awarded one of the first French Legions of Honor (in his case, l'Ordre de la Couronne de Fer) in 1810. He later served as governor of Paris from 1812-1814.
