`Dorcas was the third wife of John Dixon. She was not buried in the Dixon plot but with some of the Runyon family.
She married Phineas Runyon 12 Apr 1816 in Barren County, Kentucky. They had 4 children before Phineas' death in 1827 in Washington County, Indiana. 1st, Paulina Runyon Huffman Goodwin b 20 Jul 1817 and d 1 May 1887 in Peoria. 2nd, Nancy b 20 Feb 1818 and died 10 Dec 1909 in Darke County, Ohio. 3rd, Margarite "Peggy" Runyon Wright b 18 Dec 1820 and died 5 Dec 1892 in Preble County, Ohio. 4th, James Cecil Runyon b 28 Nov 1825 and died 23 Apr 1912 in Richland County, ND.
