John Tormey Former Peppers Automotive car salesman John Joseph James Tormey, 63, of Paris died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. today at Ridgeway Funeral Home. His funeral will be Monday at Matthew Dalcamo Funeral Home in Chicago. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Evergreen Park, Ill. Born in Chicago on May 15, 1949, he was a son of the late Eugene and Helen Connolly Tormey. Tormey was a Catholic and enjoyed fishing. He leaves three daughters: Dawn Tormey, Shannon (Dan) Battiato and Kelly (Frank) Battiato, all of Chicago; three sons: John (Nicole) Tormey Jr. of Chicago and Daniel and Joseph Tormey, both of Paris; One sister: Betty (Ray) Gaul of Wisconsin; three brothers: Richard (Donna) Tormey, Jimmy (Kim) Tormey and Patrick Tormey, all of Chicago; and Fifteen grandchildren: Abria, Hailey, Kayla, Rachel, Dylan Tormey, Danny Tormey Jr., and John Tormey III, Dominic, Vincent, Savannah, Elizabeth and Ethan Battiato and Frank Battiato Jr. and Anthony and Melissa Pagan.
