He served in the Vietnam War with the US Army. On June 14, 1986, he married Lois DeArmond in Holiday Shores. George was a millwright journeyman at Steelcase, Gerber, and TDI.
George is survived by his wife, Lois Dalrymple; two daughters, Melisa (Steven) Lautenschleger of Hopkins, MI, and Jennifer Lampros of Paw Paw, MI; two sons, Eric DeArmond of Wyoming, MI, and Shawn (Jackie) DeArmond of Caledonia, MI; nine grand children, Ashley DeArmond, Cameron DeArmond, Charlotte DeArmond, Joshua Lampros, Taylor Lampros, Michael DeArmond, David DeArmond, Christopher DeArmond, and Cameron Lautenschleger; five great-grandchildren, Ava DeArmond, Hayden DeArmond, Valerie DeArmond, Tyler DeArmond, Arianna Lampros, and a great-granddaughter expected soon; one sister, Patricia Thomas of Otsego, MI; and one brother, Merle (Trevah) Dalrymple of Allegan, MI; several nieces and nephews and his Holiday Shores family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Gordon Dalrymple.
The Graveside Service for Mr. Dalrymple was held.
