HUGH GRAHAM DIES AT 87
Hugh A. Graham, 87, of 616 Webster street died early this morning at Munson Medical Center following a long illness.
Mr. Graham was born in Omena Feb. 27, 1878, the son of Sarah and Eli Graham.
In 1900 he moved to Traverse City and was continuously employed by the city water works and then as an engineer for the city light and power department until his retirement in 1951. He was married to Marjory Gordon on August 20, 1918. He was a life member of Masonic Lodge 222 in Traverse City.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are three sons, Hugh E. of Williamsburg, Robert G. of Des Moines, Iowa, and Lawrence C. of New Haven, Conn.; 11 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hibbard funeral chapel with Dr. Howard Towne of First Congregational Church officiating. Burial will be in Omena cemetery.
