Roxanna spent most of her life in Litchfield, CT. She married Abel French in 1885. She was deaf, which may have led to her accidental death -- she was crossing the railroad tracks at South Charlestown and did not hear the warning whistle of the approaching freight train and she was struck in the head by a cylinder of the locomotive.
