Charles "Bob" Bombard, 73, of Everson died Monday August 4, 2014 at his residence. He was born February 28, 1941 in Fairmont, WV, son of the late Samuel and Maxine (Shears) Bombard.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years; two brothers; one sister; a sister-in-law; a mother-in-law; a brother-in-law; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, William Todd Bombard; a brother, Samuel Bombard; his father-in-law, Ward Bice, Jr.; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Bob loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Monongah and held various jobs, which include Owens Illinois and Interstate Engineers.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. in Fairmont from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday August 7, at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Monongah with Father S.A. Arokiadass as Celebrant.
