Jacksonville, Ill., Jan 5.—Dr. Robert Carr Block, a prominent physician of St. Louis, died here this evening at 7 o'clock of locomotor ataxia at Norbury's sanitarium, where he had been a patient for two years, at the age of 46 years. Previous to that time he had lived at Ferguson, Mo. Dr. Block was a specialist on throat and nose diseases.
He is survived by one brother, Henry Block, who is sonnected with the Union Sad and Cement company of St. Louis, also another brother, an attorney of St. Louis. Also his parents who reside at Aberdeen Mo.
The remains will be shipped to Aberdeen, Pike county Mo., for burial.
