Raymond Autrey Abel, 63, Colonial Estates Nursing Home, Shawnee, died Thursday, Feb. 28, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Private committal services will be Friday, March 1 at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
Abel was born May 30, 1927 in Rising Star, Texas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Abel. He was reared and educated in Waco, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Betty Barnes.
He is survived by three sisters, Wilma Cohlmia and Juanita King, both of Norman and Orene Reeves, Shawnee.
