David Evans Cannon, 84, died Monday, August 04, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born June 25, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah a son of the late Abram and Leone Evans Cannon.
Mr. Cannon was a loving husband, father and brother. He graduated from the US Naval Academy in 1953 and retired as a Lt. Commander. He also retired from the Singer Corporation before retiring to Myrtle Beach.
Mr. Cannon is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jacqueline "Lynn" Murtha Cannon; two sons, John M. Cannon of OR and Thomas D. Cannon of TX; one daughter, Deborah L. Cannon of GA; one brother, Thomas Cannon of NJ and one sister, Kathleen Knowlton of UT.
A Memorial Service will be held 11am Friday, August 8, 2014 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Father Tripp Jeffords officiating.
