George Vosburgh
George H. Vosburgh Jr., 43, of Railroad Street, Nelliston, died Thursday morning, July 27 at his home, following a short illness.
He was born Aug. 17, 1945, in Amsterdam, the son of George and Mary Dingman Vosburgh. He attended the former Palatine School and was a lifelong area resident.
In addition to his parents, survivors include two sisters; Mabel May Vosburgh of E. Chatham, and Linda Anna Vosburgh of Nelliston; three brothers, Stewart Vosburgh of E. Chatham, Douglas and Frank Vosburgh, both of Nelliston; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services were 10 a.m. Monday at Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home Inc., 20 Otsego St., Canajoharie, with Rev. Kenneth Kingman officiating.
Burial was in Fort Plain Cemetary.
Calling Hours were from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
